Aztec Chihuahua's Health Guarantee 

In order for the provisions of this guarantee to be valid and in full force and effect, the dog purchased and covered by this guarantee must be taken to a licensed veterinarian (of purchaser's choice) for an initial exam within 72 hours of the date of delivery of the dog. 

Aztec Chihuahua's guarantees this dog/puppy for thirty (30) days against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, and parvo virus as long as immunization is continued, as scheduled, by a licensed veterinarian. Aztec Chihuahua's will replace the dog/puppy (with no additional monies due) with one of equal quality and value when one becomes available--timeframe for replacement not to exceed one (1) year. 

Should this dog/puppy die of a genetic defect within four (4) years from date of birth or develop a debilitating defect that would prohibit the dog/puppy leading a normal pet life within said four (4) years (excluding patella luxation), Aztec Chihuahua's will either replace the dog with no additional monies due or allow the purchase of a replacement dog/puppy at half price depending upon the conditions involved (Aztec Chihuahua's option). 

In order for any of the above provisions to be enforceable, a written statement from the purchaser's licensed veterinarian must be furnished Aztec Chihuahua's as to the exact cause of death (including an autopsy report) or specific defect. In the event of a question regarding a defect, a second opinion from a licensed veterinarian of Aztec's choice will be the governing opinion. 

And UNDER NO CONDITIONS will Aztec Chihuahua's replace a dog/puppy where we were not advised of its being ill beforehand or "put to sleep" without our permission. 

Aztec Chihuahua's DOES NOT GUARANTEE any dog against injuries or illnesses caused by the neglect or abuse of purchaser--improper diet also constitutes neglect or abuse.

VACCINATION/WORMING SCHEDULE: All puppies receive 1/2 cc of Fort Dodge Puppy Shot, without Lepto, modified live parvo virus at 7 weeks of age. I recommend vaccinating the puppy again at 10 weeks, again at 13 weeks, and lastly at 17 weeks. All puppies are wormed with NemexII at 4 wks. and 6 wks.of age. 

FEEDING INFORMATION: All puppies are fed Puppy Eukanuba (small bites) dry puppy food and canned Science Diet Growth (you can only purchase this at a pet store) Any new brands of dog food should be introduced gradually.
